Frequently Asked Questions
Below are common questions about our pool. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact us at riverairepool@gmail.com!
Memberships
-
You do NOT have to live in the neighborhood to belong.
-
To be a family membership you must live in the same household. Please refrain from having your adult children on your membership.
-
Members may have a babysitter(s) on your membership, but this only entitles the babysitter to be at the pool while babysitting or with your family. They do not have a personal membership to come up on their own.
-
Couple Membership: 2 adults or 1 adult and 1 child
-
You can join swim team or lessons without being a member. There is a different fee set.
If you have a special situation or questions, please ask and we can help!
Pool Parties
-
Parties must be hosted by a member.
-
Member hosts are allowed 30 minutes before the party to set-up and 30 minutes after to clean-up. (If more time is needed for set-up, please reach out to us.)
-
Parties will be held to a strict 2 hour time limit. We ask that parties’ guests please leave at this time and clean-up begins. If you would like to have more time, please reach out to us for availability and the extra fee involved.
-
Parties will be limited to 30 guests on deck during pool hours. This includes non-swimmers who are there for the party.
-
If your party will be over 30 on-deck guests, you are welcome to schedule before or after pool hours. If it has over 50 guests, there will be an additional fee for an extra lifeguard.
-
A space on the pool deck will be reserved for your party. We ask that when not swimming to have guests celebrate and use the seating in that area only to allow the rest of the deck and loungers/tables to be available for our other members.
-
Pool parties need to be scheduled ahead of time to check availability. There is a form with your contact and party information to be filled out then our pool manager will reach out to confirm and schedule timing. There is also a pool party waiver to sign.
-
These forms can be found on our website or in our snack shack. We can also email the form if needed.
Rafts, Inflatable, & Pool Toys
-
Our pool insurance does NOT allow inflatables at the pool. We ask that no rafts be brought to the pool.
-
Pool noodles are allowed as well as the pool noodles with mesh seating. If the noodle’s seat has areas that need to be inflated or could be an obstruction, please refrain from bringing those to the pool.
-
If any clarification is needed, please feel free to contact us to ask. Our staff will err on the side of caution if unsure. Please remember they are simply doing their job and keeping the pool safe, especially for our little ones.
-
Beach balls are allowed at the lifeguard’s discretion.
-
Water toys are allowed at the lifeguard discretion. If they get out of hand, the lifeguard can ask for them to be put away.
-
This is following insurance guidelines to keep our patrons safe. We greatly appreciate your understanding.
Swim Team
-
When practices are held during pool hours, the deep end and one lane of the pool will be left open for other guests. These times will be posted at the pool, on our website, and emailed. We understand this is an inconvenience but are happy to provide our young swimmers and their families with confident swimming skills as well as this experience. It also brings in funding which helps keep our pool running.
-
This year Pre-Team will bridge the gap for the numerous swimmers who want to join the team but aren’t ready for a full practice. If they are unable to swim two full laps unassisted or they are not comfortable with joining the team yet, Pre-Team is for them. It will allow our coaches to better focus time on them building endurance and basic skills. They will still swim in the end of season meet and learn the same things the team will be learning, just at their own adjusted pace.
